Dolphin has been pestering me to make sugar cookies with him. I don't really like sugar cookies, and I've never made them. I decided to be brave. We found some cute Halloween cookie cutters and a recipe and we began our little adventure.
It was fun cutting out the shapes.
But we had a hard time getting them off the counter.
Then I burned the sugar cookies. Aargh!!
Guess we'll have to give it another go, with a new recipe.

The think about sugar cookies and other shaped cookies that I don't like is rolling the dough. Arg! I hate that part! I deprive my kid of fun shapes by rolling, refrigerating and slicing the dough instead. I guess I won't win any awards for that.
